The Tabet Q'abu In the autumn of 2003, renovations began on Chateau Belle-Vue's first cellar for barrel storage in the heart of Bhamdoun village. Donated to the winery by an elderly Bhamdouni gentleman, two centuries-old cellars lie side by side under a home near the Maronite church. The arched interiors extend to a length of 12 meters, and are connected by a low doorway carved out of the thick stone wall. The first cellar, the more narrow of the two, stores up to twenty barrels. The second, at almost double the width of its mate, holds approximately twice that amount. This larger cellar also boasts a rustic seating area for wine tasting.

The Saiha Q'abu A second location for barrel storage and tasting was identified in the summer of 2004. This venue, next to the Greek Orthodox church, finds us located in the very center of the village, called the saiha. Renovations on the cellar and the adjacent tasting room began that autumn and were completed in time to receive our 2004 vintage.

Noticeably more expansive dimensions give our Saiha Q'abu a very different feel. Its wide and majestic arched stone walls measure fifteen meters in length and over five meters high at its highest point. This cellar is equipped to store seventy-four barrels with ease. The anteroom currently serves as our tasting room and visitor's center.

The two cellars are within easy walking distance of each other in the oldest sector of Bhamdoun village.
