Our first small vintage in 2002 has so far exceeded all expectations. The
combination of a late bud break and relatively cool temperatures throughout the
growing season caused desirable harvest delays. This translates into the
promise of excellent aging potential.
Chateau Belle-Vue 2002 offers a crispy, rounded, fruity palette. Though it is
still quite young, its full-bodied nature boasts 'long legs' and a rich,
complex flavor which holds and comes back in spades. (Available early 2005)
